Police paraded a Muslim man arrested over allegations of slaughtering cattle and disposing of the remains in a well near an agricultural field, after VHP-Bajrang Dal members informed the police, claiming that a farmer had alerted them to the incident. During the public parade through the town, the man was repeatedly forced to chant, “slaughtering cows is a sin” and “the police are our father.”
