At an event organised by the BJP, former MLA Raghvendra Pratap Singh claimed that under the previous government, only kabristans (Muslim graveyards) were funded, whereas the same funds are now being used for temple beautification. He asserted that even if Hindus do business with Muslims, Muslims who settle in their localities always have their eyes on Hindu women. He also alleged that he lost the previous election due to a conspiracy by Muslims from neighbouring areas, who considered him a “kafir.”
