Following an alleged case of “love jihad,” Hindu nationalist supporter Deepak Rao delivered a speech targeting Muslims. He claimed that a “Mulla” family had been forced to leave Delhi and warned that if Muslims “raised their eyes” against Hindus, they would be forced to flee the state and, eventually, the country. He urged women to remain vigilant and teach their children to identify “jihadis,” alleging that Muslim men viewed Hindu girls as “packages” and claiming that “all Abduls are the same” and would “pack” Hindu women in a “suitcase” or “fridge,” or “kill and throw” them away.
