Members of Sakal Hindu Samaj, led by Sudhir Bahirwade, organised a protest against what they described as “land jihad.” The group submitted a memorandum to the authorities and raised slogans including, “Atikraman hatao, desh bachao” (“Remove encroachments, save the nation”) while demanding action against alleged “land jihad.”
