At a Trishul Diksha event organised by Sri Rama Sena, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti member Bhavya Gowda peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “gym jihad,” alleging that Muslim men systematically target Hindu women through parks, hotels, gyms, and other public spaces as part of a pre-planned network. She claimed that “love jihad” was more dangerous than terrorism, alleged that it was linked to murder, and compared it to historical invasions and colonial rule, claiming that Hindu daughters had long been targeted by “jihadis.” She further urged Hindu women to become like Durga, Chandi, and Chamundi to protect their religion, called on them to confront and physically assault “jihadis,” and declared that any “jihadi” looking at Hindu women should be beaten in retaliation.
