At the Sanatan Samvad Conference, Vishnu Swami Bhaiyaji Maharaj claimed that there was no need for a Sanatan Board and instead called for the abolition of the Waqf Board, claiming that the halal economy generated ₹8,500 crore used to fund legal cases for terrorists. Hindu Utsav Samiti President and Sanskriti Bachao Manch leader Chandrashekhar Tiwari peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” alleging that Hindu women were routinely targeted and criticising Hindu monks for not doing enough to combat it. Audience speakers echoed these claims, blaming gym trainers, drivers, delivery agents, and “sutta bars” for facilitating “love jihad.” They further alleged that Muslim children were indoctrinated through mosque teachings to slaughter cows and behead people, and claimed that while mosques remained untouched, thousands of temples in Madhya Pradesh had been demolished.
