At “Ghar Sanpark Maha Abhyan” organised by AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, AHP leader Munish Bhardwaj delivered an anti-Muslim speech, alleging that Muslims work for “Islam and jihad” above all else. Invoking the Changur Baba case, he alleged that madrasas and an “army” of over four lakh mullahs and maulvis were engaged in jihad and religious conversion, and falsely claimed that mosques and madrasas had never contributed to India’s freedom struggle, instead working only to create Pakistan. He also accused Muslims of routinely instigating communal violence through stone-pelting during Hindu processions and alleged that over three lakh mosques and madrasas were being used for religious conversion in India. Promoting conspiracy theories about demographic change, he claimed that conversion transformed loyal citizens into “traitors.” He alleged that the government disproportionately funded mosques and madrasas while neglecting Hindu educational institutions. He also claimed that convent schools, Christian missionaries, and multinational companies were also involved in efforts to convert Hindus, while promoting the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “spit jihad” and “land jihad.” Bhardwaj further alleged that mosques, mazars, and madrasas near India’s borders were being established as future hubs for jihad and would serve as bases in the event of a war with Pakistan or Bangladesh. Claiming that all 25 crore Muslims in India were working to “tear the country apart,” Bhardwaj alleged that demographic change was forcing Hindus to flee areas of Delhi and compared the situation to Kashmir. He argued that the Partition of India and the creation of Bangladesh were the result of demographic shifts, before asserting that an Akhand Bharat could not be achieved with Muslims included. He claimed that India must first become “free of Muslims” before the vision of Akhand Bharat could be realised.
