Hindu nationalist supporters attacked a Muslim passerby during a protest against the killing of one person in police firing and the injuries sustained by several others during communal violence. The violence was triggered by the playing of a DJ during the Bol-Bom Yatra, the replacement of a Muslim religious flag with a Hindu flag, and incidents of stone pelting.
