In Muzaffarpur, AHP Speaker Fearmongers About Declining Hindu Population

Location: Muzafffarpur, Bihar

At an AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal regional meeting, a speaker fearmongered about Hindus becoming a minority in districts such as Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj, and Muzaffarpur, claiming unorganised Hindus would face violence and eventual “erasure,” asserting that “if Hindus don’t survive, Hindustan won’t either.” He contrasted Hindu participation in Hanuman Chalisa gatherings with Muslim and Christian religious mobilisation and alleged that Christians target economically vulnerable Hindus with financial aid and medical assistance to facilitate alleged religious conversions. Invoking historical narratives of Muslim invasions, he warned that disunity would leave Hindus “slaves,” costing them their homes, property, and temples, which he claimed would be replaced by mosques. He further asserted that Muslims were prepared to fight and viewed themselves as India’s former and future rulers.
