Members of VHP–Bajrang Dal, led by Rudra Mishra, raided a chicken outlet on the Kanwar route, objecting to the sale of meat during the Hindu month of Shravan. They called the police, alleging that the shop was illegally selling meat, following which authorities detained several employees and seized the meat.
