At the Sanknad Mahotsav, organised by Sanatan Sanstha in association with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Sudarshan News editor-in-chief Suresh Chavhanke and BJP MP and senior national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi delivered communal speeches marked by anti-Muslim demographic fearmongering.
Chavhanke warned of a rising Muslim population, claimed India would become “Islamistan,” alleged that 25% of Muslims in India are “infiltrators” from Bangladesh and other Muslim countries, called for throwing out “infiltrators” through a proposed “Janata NRC,” demanded laws to curb Muslim marriages and childbirth, and spread the conspiracy of “population jihad.”
Trivedi fearmongered about the growth of the Muslim population in Europe, falsely claiming young Muslims were “infiltrators” who would take over the continent.
