At the Hindu Dharma Sabha organized by Sakal Hindu Samaj, BJP MLA and Cabinet Minister Nitesh Rane delivered an anti-Muslim hate speech, falsely claiming that ‘land jihad’ and ‘love jihad’ threaten Hindus. He called Muslims “jihadis” and “green snakes,” warning of violent consequences if they did not stop these alleged activities. Rane urged Hindus to “deal with” those who target Hindu women and even offered to post bail for those who acted. He also attacked azaan, called for the removal of loudspeakers, and praised the Fadnavis government’s crackdown on alleged Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants. Additionally, he pushed the baseless claim that Muslims aim to turn India into an Islamic state by 2047.
