At a BJP meeting, BJP MLA Aahir Deepak Chaudhary cited his campaign speech, urging “Rohingya-Bangladeshis” to leave the gathering. He asserted that India needs nationalist Muslims like Abdul Kalam and called on those he labelled as “Rohingya-Bangladeshis” to leave his constituency, stating that they were not needed. He also urged people to inform him if they suspected anyone of being a Rohingya, claiming that many had forged documents.
