A pickup tempo coming from the Athavada market of Patoda in Dharashiv district was stopped based on allegations by cow vigilantes that three cows — were being transported to Dharashiv for slaughter. With the help of the police, the vehicle was seized, and legal action was initiated by the Bambali police. The cows were seized and shifted to the Sukhroopane cowshed.
