Far-right influencer Harsha Thakur Calls for Muslim Boycott and Spreads ‘Love Jihad’ Conspiracy

Location: Loni, Warud, Amravati, Maharashtra

At the Hindu Jagruti Sabha, organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, far-right influencer Harsha Thakur delivered a hate-filled speech targeting Muslims. She repeatedly spread the conspiracy of “love jihad,” demonized Muslim communities, and used slurs like “puncharchaap,” “jihadi,” and “lande.”

Thakur accused Muslim butchers of mixing beef into meat to deceive Hindus and demanded their shops be boycotted. She claimed Muslims believe in “seven wives and seventy children,” and incited economic and social boycotts, urging Hindus to avoid doing business with them.

She questioned Hindu women, asking, “Would you like to wear burqas and skullcaps right now?” and stoked communal aggression by invoking Kashi and Mathura.
