Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organisations protested outside churches and houses, accusing organisers of luring people, including children, into Christianity. Police detained over 100 people for questioning and began investigations in both cities.

On Sunday, a major uproar broke out in Kailash Nagar, Bhilai. Bajrang Dal workers gathered outside a church in the Jamul police station area, accusing it of forced religious conversions.

They claimed that people, including small children, were being converted under the guise of a prayer meeting. The Bajrang Dal alleged that around 200 to 250 people were present inside the house where the meeting was held.
