Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers reached the house in Madhav Kunj in Agra’s Jagdishpura police station area on information about religious conversion.
Police also arrived at the information. Police have brought 4 people present in the house to the station for questioning.
Some women reached a house in Madhav Kunj Central Park Sector 7 on Sunday morning. Hindu activists also arrived with them.
They alleged that religious conversion was being carried out inside the house in the name of worship and healing. Christian community people call others on Sundays in the name of curing diseases.
Then they brainwash and convert them. The organisation’s people entered the house. They started making videos. This caused a commotion. After this, many people present there left.
Police also reached the spot on information. Police found two people there. It is alleged that this work was being done by renting the house. Police have brought both the accused to the police station.
Christian literature found Hindutva groups say that literature related to Christianity was found in the house. A person named David was running the centre.
He traps people from the Valmiki and Jatav communities in his net in the name of jobs, schemes and curing diseases. People are made to read the Bible.
ACP Lohamandi Gaurav Kumar said that the police acted on information about the commotion. Both persons are being interrogated. The situation will become clear along with the investigation of the entire matter.
