Hindu Mahasabha Protests Shah Jahan’s Urs at Taj Mahal, Demands It Be Declared Hindu Temple

Cow vigilantes seized a truck transporting cattle and harassed the driver, accusing him of cattle smuggling.

Hindu Mahasabha members staged a protest against the Urs of Shah Jahan being held at the Taj Mahal, claiming that the monument is actually a Hindu temple called Tejo Mahalaya. They demanded permission to conduct prayers to Shiva and Parvati at the site. During the protest, they also chanted the slogan: “Use Dabur’s oil and erase Babur’s name.”
