During a meeting to plan a march to Kairana in Uttar Pradesh to show their strength by reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, members of Hindu Raksha Dal referred to Member of Parliament Iqra Hasan as a “jihadi” for her statement opposing the demand to ban Eid namaz on public roads. Slogans such as “One must chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ to live in India” and “Not to Mullahs and Qazis, this country belongs to Veer Shivaji” were also raised.
