Visuals with the words “I love Muhmad” and “I love Mamud” spray-painted on the walls of two temples are viral on social media. In one of the videos showing the graffiti, the person recording the video is heard saying that the visuals are from a Shiv temple in the Bulak Garhi village in Uttar Pradesh.

Pro-Right social media user @KreatelyMedia, whose posts have often been fact-checked by Alt News, shared the visuals, blaming ‘Islamists’ for desecrating the temple. “As the population grows, so will their terror,” the user remarked.

Another user, @SonOfBharat7, also shared the video, blaming ‘Jihadis’ for the incident and claimed that this was done to incite riots. The post garnered nearly 53,000 views and nearly 2,000 reshares at the time this article was written.

Several others also shared the video, claiming ‘Islamist goons’ and ‘Jihadis’ were to blame.
