In Ahmednagar, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane at Hindu Dharma Sabha Calls for Economic Boycott of Muslims, Promotes Hindu Rashtra

Location: Madhi, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra

At the Hindu Dharma Sabha, organized by Sakal Hindu Samaj, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane delivered a speech filled with communal incitement and calls for discrimination against Muslims. He openly advocated for an economic boycott of Muslims across Maharashtra, citing a similar action in Madhi during the Kanifnath Maharaj Yatra. Despite the ban on Muslim shopkeepers at the yatra later being ruled unconstitutional, Rane continued to justify the unconstitutional exclusion of Muslim vendors.

He urged Hindus to take direct action, assuring them of his support. Escalating tensions further, he vowed to remove alleged Muslim encroachments, using derogatory language to dehumanize the community. Asserting Hindu supremacy, he declared, “This is not your dad’s Pakistan; this is our Hindu Rashtra.”

Rane also propagated the baseless conspiracy theory that India would become an Islamic state by 2047, invoking demographic fear by stating, “The dadiwallas are scared—what will happen to their one hundred children and forty wives?” Continuing his inflammatory rhetoric, he referred to Muslims as “jihadi” and “green snakes,” promoting an economic boycott and alleging that Muslim financial resources were being used for “jihad” to Islamize India.
