Ahead of the 813th Urs of Khwaja Garib Nawaz, the Municipal Corporation carried out a major demolition drive in the Ajmer Dargah area, clearing alleged illegal permanent and temporary encroachments in nearby lanes. The action triggered chaos and anger among shopkeepers and locals as structures outside shops were removed. Heavy security was deployed in the congested Dargah area, and the drive continued under strict police presence to maintain control of the situation.
