VHP–Bajrang Dal members disrupted a Christian prayer meeting in Tanwar Colony, alleging that illegal religious conversions were being carried out under the guise of prayer. They dragged the pastor out of the house, assaulted him, and tore his clothes before handing him over to the police. The groups alleged that religious materials were recovered from the site and forced him to admit to conducting conversion, accusing the pastor of converting more than 15 people. Police later took him into custody and launched an investigation.
