During a Sant Sammelan to celebrate Mahant Nritya Gopal Das’s birth anniversary, monk Ramanand Das claimed that the Hindu population has been decreasing while the population of “vidharmis” has been increasing. Hindu ascetic Yashoda Dasi chanted the slogan, “We are Hindus, and Hindustan belongs to us.” She urged Hindus not to have any kind of transaction with “non-Hindus.” Avichal Devacharya, monk and president of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, stated that the “Ram Janmabhoomi” had been completed, but that Mahant Nritya Gopal Das would not leave this life until “Krishna Janmabhoomi” in Mathura and Kashi Vishwanath were also completed.
