Hindu nationalists, including BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar and Bajrang Dal members, falsely accused four Muslim men of abducting a girl, labelling it a case of “love jihad.” However, the girl stated she had left in search of a job and had informed her parents in writing. She alleged that the Hindu-Muslim angle was deliberately created due to previous conflict between the communities.
