During a Shourya Yatra organised by the VHP–Bajrang Dal, leader Rajesh Kumar spoke against the idea of communal brotherhood, declaring that Muslims would be considered their brothers only if they considered Bharat as their “mother.” He questioned whether Muslims had any respect or trust for the country if they did not view it as such. He compared them to “poisonous snakes” and claimed that their alleged hatred for Hindus remains “the same as it was before 1947.” He also peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad.”
