In Basna, Togadia Calls for Population Law and Expulsion of ‘3 Crore Bangladeshis’

Location: Basna, Chhattisgarh

Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, speaking at a meeting, claimed that the Hindu religion and the idea of a “Hindu Rashtra” were created by God. He declared that they would maintain a “Hindu majority” through law or by force. He demanded a population control law and the expulsion of 3 crore Bangladeshi Muslims, whom he alleged were residing in the country illegally. He urged Hindus to buy from and employ only Hindus. He cited the construction of the Ram Mandir and claimed that as long as Hindus are in the majority, their houses are safe. He further asserted that Hindus would be “the ones to beat and win,” citing Israel as an example, and argued that even a smaller Hindu population would still fight and prevail.
