At an event organised on Gauraksha, Vishva Hindu Mahasangh leader Akhilesh Singh demanded that cows be declared “Rashtriya Mata” and advocated violence against those accused of harming them, stating that they should be “encountered” without any FIR and that anyone who disrespects “Gau Mata” should be finished on the spot. He asserted that anyone who looks at “Gau Mata” with ill intent should have their “eyes plucked out” and invoked the slogan “sar tan se juda,” claiming Hindus should adopt the same approach in her defence. He derogatorily referred to Muslims as “rakshas qaum,” “katmulla,” “jihadi,” and “qasayi,” and peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” alleging that Muslim men harass, kidnap, and rape Hindu women. He further alleged that Muslims regard Hindus as “kafirs,” want all “kafirs” burnt alive, and seek to impose Islam across the world.
