Akhilesh Singh, a leader of Vishva Hindu Mahasangh, along with other members of the group, harassed and threatened a Muslim chicken meat vendor for operating his shop in close proximity to a temple. He also termed the butcher’s knives “weapons” that could be used to kill people and said that they would file a police complaint for possessing them.
