Cow vigilantes from the Gau Raksha Dal, along with local villagers, intercepted three people, including two women, accusing them of cow slaughter and of helping two alleged smugglers escape. They reportedly harassed and beat the accused before handing them over to the police. Following this, all three were reportedly arrested.
