At a support meeting for the Hindus of Bhayal village, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Joint Secretary Dharmendra Bhawani delivered an anti-Muslim speech, urging Hindus to unite “against Muslims” and warning them to “suffer for attacking 100 crore Hindus.” He demonised Muslims of Godhra, claiming “I love Mohammed is a declaration of war against Hindus,” and glorified violence from the 2002 riots, saying, “You burnt that train with Hindus, and then we showed you your place.”
