At a Durga Shakti Akhada event, MLA T. Raja Singh incited violence, urging Hindus to kill any “love jihadi” targeting Hindu women instead of apprehending them, and pastors allegedly involved in religious conversion. He claimed “mullas” fear no law and called for shooting 2-4 of them to instill fear. He peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad”, urged parents to poison daughters who could not be brought back, and demanded that the Chief Minister announce bounties for killing those engaged in “love jihad,” religious conversion, and alleged Rohingya or Bangladeshi settlers.
