VHP-Bajrang Dal organized a “Shaastra and Shastra Pujan” (Scripture and Weapon Worship) program where weapons were displayed. Sadhvi Ranjana urged attendees to arm themselves “to protect dharma” and refrain from shopping from non-Hindus during Diwali. She derogatorily referred to Muslims as “kuthmulle,” asserting that sages have already declared “Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra.” Another speaker criticized the “I Love Mohammad” campaign, calling it an attempt to divide the nation and peddled the “love jihad” conspiracy theory, warning that “We won’t spare anyone who messes with us.” A third speaker mentioned former Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, claiming that if India were a Hindu Rashtra, he would not have been president but “a roadside mechanic.” He demanded that Hindus, especially the youth, be armed and trained with weapons.
