Kamal Gautam, president of the Hindu Raksha Parishad, speaking at a religious event, promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” He urged Hindus to become more religious in order to combat what he described as the challenges posed by “Islamic jihad” and “conspiracy of Christian religious conversion.”
