VHP, Bajrang Dal, and Singha Sena members held a campaign in Bolpur demanding that roadside food stalls and restaurants clearly display the religious identity of their owners. They said the markings would allow customers to choose businesses based on the owner’s religion and demanded that Muslims be prohibited from operating businesses under Hindu religious identities.
