In Bongaigaon, Hindutva leader claims ‘Bangladeshis’ taking over villages to create ‘Islamic State’

At a meeting of AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal-Rashtriya Mahila Parishad, leader Debajit targeted Muslims, alleging that over a thousand villages had been taken over by “Bangladeshis.” He claimed that places with names like Islampur were being established across the district and called it a conspiracy to turn India into an “Islamic State” by buying land at high prices to prevent Hindus from purchasing it.
