Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal members raided The Royal Hotel, alleging that the establishment was promoting “love jihad” by allowing interfaith couples inside. The workers shut the hotel’s shutters and created a ruckus. They issued open warnings to the hotel owner, claiming the hotel had been involved in similar controversies in the past, and demanded that the administration shut down such establishments. Police arrived at the site and reportedly detained the hotel owner for further investigation.
