Members of the VHP-Bajrang Dal raided a Christian religious meeting, alleging that religious conversions were taking place. According to the police, three individuals were arrested on accusations of attempting to convert people by offering incentives such as financial assistance, medical treatment, and help with children’s education. Some residents also alleged that outsiders were going door to door, encouraging people to change their religion. Protesters gathered outside and raised the slogan, “Beat those who convert people with shoes.”
