In Dahanu, Hindu Nationalist Leaders Call for Muslim Boycott and Threaten Violence

Location: Dahanu, Palghar, Maharashtra

At a protest against “love jihad” organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, both Bajrang Dal Konkan convenor Gautam Ravariya and far-right Jain monk Nilesh Muni delivered anti-Muslim hate speeches. Ravariya spread the conspiracies of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “corporate jihad,” and “thook jihad”; referred to Muslims as “Babbar ki Aulaad” and “cut-pieces”; claimed that Muslims did not belong in India; threatened to cut off the hands of “vidharmis” who touched Hindu women; and called for a complete economic boycott of Muslims. He also urged Jains to stop doing business with Muslims and prepare to send them to Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Muni referred to Muslims using derogatory terms such as “Mullo”, “Mulle”, and “lande,” spread the conspiracies of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “corporate jihad”; called for bulldozers to be used on allegedly illegal mosques; demanded a complete economic boycott of Muslims; threatened retaliation against the family of a Muslim man involved in an interfaith relationship; and warned that property would be destroyed if the woman was not returned within ten days.
