At the Hunkar Stree Shakticha programme, far-right influencer Kajal ‘Hindusthani’ Shingala peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and religious conversion, alleging that “jihadi” forces target Hindu women, encroach on land, and seek to establish “Ghazwa-e-Hind” and turn India into an Islamic State by 2047. Referencing Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, she fearmongered over Hindus becoming stateless if India changed demographically, alleging India is being surrounded by attempts to turn it into an Islamic state. She further claimed that Muslim rulers and British colonisers both sought religious conversion and alleged that women are now being targeted through “love jihad” and “psychological warfare” via Bollywood, OTT platforms, and social media. Invoking Maharani Padmini’s jauhar, she questions what changed in the years for Hindu daughters to willingly wear Burqa for “Abdul and Aftab” and enter “Mulla’s” household. She argued that this “poison” has been systematically spread, leading to the breakdown of families. She further alleged that while Hindus focus on earning wealth, “jihadis” are focused on taking over the country through population growth, and urged surveillance over women’s movements and relationships, claiming such activities continue due to foreign funding, citing the case of Changur Baba, alleging they set rates for different castes of women.
