Bajrang Dal leader Vikas Verma, speaking at a weekly Hanuman Chalisa event, targeted Muslims and Christians. He alleged that Christians carry out religious conversions through deceit and receive foreign funding via NGOs. He fearmongered about Muslim workers such as painters and carpenters, and peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” He also targeted the Tablighi Jamaat, accusing them of spreading “poison” in the society and claimed that Muslim youth have been set on the path of “jihad.”
