In Dehradun, CM Dhami Boasts of Anti-Conversion Laws and Madrasa Demolitions

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

At the Non-resident Uttarakhand Conference, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the implementation of laws against religious conversion, riots, “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” and claimed that strict action was being taken. He also referenced “Operation Kalnemi,” an initiative he described as being against those “jihadis” targeting and harming the “Sanatan Sanskriti.” He claimed that strict action has been taken against these “land jihad,” claiming the “reclamation” of over 9,000 acres of government land, demolition of more than 500 “illegal” shrines and mosques, closure of around 250 alleged “illegal” madrasas. He introduced a bill to dissolve the madrasa board, claiming that only those madrasas in Uttarakhand that teach the syllabus prescribed by our education board will operate.
