Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

At the inauguration of the Dainik Bhaskar News App in Dehradun, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami delivered a speech highlighting his government’s measures to “maintain the identity, culture, and demographic composition” of Devbhoomi. He spoke about the implementation of laws targeting religious conversion, riots, “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” asserting that strict action had been taken against those accused of “land jihad.” Dhami claimed the government had reclaimed over 9,000 acres of government land, demolished more than 500 shrines and mosques he termed illegal, shut approximately 250 madrasas, and introduced a bill to dissolve the madrasa board. He further mentioned “Operation Kalnemi,” a campaign against those allegedly harming Sanatan Sanskriti, claiming that over 6,000 people had been arrested under this initiative.
