At a Dussehra Festival organized by the Laxman Chowk Welfare Society, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami peddled anti-Muslim conspiracy theories, including “land jihad,” “love jihad,” “thook jihad,” and “conversion jihad,” saying “There are still many ‘Ravanas’ left to be defeated,” and they have taken a vow to put an end to such things in Uttarakhand. He claimed the government has taken action against these “threats,” citing the seizure of over 9,000 acres of land, closure of 250 madrasas, demolition of 500 shrines, and enforcement of “nakal virodhi” laws. He further mentioned Operation Kalnemi and introduced a new bill to abolish the madrasa board, presenting these measures to eliminate alleged threats in Uttarakhand.
