During the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra, far-right preacher Dhirendra Shastri (Bageshwar Dham Sarkar) called for Hindu unity to establish a Hindu Rashtra, describing it as a “vaicharik kranti” (ideological revolution). Referring to the Partition and the 1966 anti-cow slaughter riots, he argued that if Pakistan can be an Islamic state, India can be a “Hindu Rashtra.” He warned that if others call for “Ghazwa-e-Hind,” Hindus will answer with “Bhagwa-e-Hind.” Praising the Babri Masjid demolition and Sadhvi Ritambhara, he urged cooperation with Nepal for a joint “Hindu Rashtra.” Condemning those opposing the chant of “Vande Mataram,” he said they should “go to Lahore,” and called for action against “illegal conversions,” declaring, “we will not spare anyone who interferes.” Recalling the previous chant to build the Ram Mandir, he introduced a new chant for Mathura: “Krishna Lala hum aayenge, makhan mishri khayenge,” and urged supporters to “march on and remain steadfast,” proclaiming that “the Sanatani flag will be planted over the chest of the opponents.”
