In Delhi, Hindu Raksha Dal Leader Says He Would Not Have Let “a Single Mulla Live” in District

Location: Sabhapur, Delhi

Bhupendra “Pinki” Chaudhary, president of the Hindu Raksha Dal, speaking at a meeting organised by his group, peddled the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” accusing Muslims of trapping Hindu women and economically taking over Hindu businesses. He derogatorily referred to Muslims as “Mullas” and claimed that Sanatanis, once spread across the world, no longer had a country of their own, alleging that Hindus were under attack in places such as West Bengal and Kashmir. Recalling his 2014 election campaign, he declared that had he been elected, he “would not have let even a single Mulla live” in the district. Another speaker, Amit Prajapati, criticised the government for not declaring the cow “Rashtra Mata” and not implementing a population control law. He alleged that Muslims have “a dozen children” while Hindus follow the “Hum Do, Hamare Do” norm, and complained that they were labelled “anti-national” and faced FIRs for distributing swords.
