At a Hindu Sammelan, BJP leader Nazia Elahi Khan, also known as Nazia Sanatani, delivered a derogatory anti-Muslim speech, questioning Muslim family relations and alleging that multiple forms of “jihad” are operating in India, including “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “thook jihad,” “moot jihad,” “gym jihad,” “beauty parlour jihad,” “salon jihad,” “debate jihad,” and “TV jihad.” She questioned constitutionalism while attacking the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Darul Uloom Deoband, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, and questioning the legitimacy of Sharia in India. She used drogatory slurs such as “katmulle,” “topiwale” and “dariwale,” and declared that India is “land of Bharat Mata, not an Islamic State,” warned that those with “jihadi” or “Pakistani mentality” still exist, and alleged they seek to raise the “Green Flag” under the idea of “Ghazwa-e-Hind.” She warned “22 crore Muslims” living in India that “Ghar Wapsi” was in their “interest,” warned that otherwise “ticket to Pakistan would be issued.” She asserted that anyone who wants to stay in India must say “Jai Shri Ram.” She also targeted critics of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party, and openly warned the Opposition that she had the power to “pull out their tongues” if they spoke against the RSS.
