Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, claimed that the Hindu religion and the idea of a “Hindu Rashtra” were created by God. He alleged that 2000 years ago Hindus were in the entire world, claiming they declined due to “loot, conversions and displacement.” He fearmongered over allegedly declining Hindu population, claiming wherever they have declined, they have been killed. He declared that they would maintain a Hindu majority through “law or by force.” He demanded a population control law and the expulsion of who he termed “3 crore Bangladeshis Rohingya.” He urged Hindus to buy from and employ only Hindus. He further asserted that Hindus would be “the ones to beat and win.” He urged Hindus to economically boycott Muslims, asserting to only do business with Hindus and “ask to ask for the name” before visiting any shop. He further referred to Muslims as “snakes,” claiming that when Hindus gather for the Hanuman Chalisa, “snakes will die,” and counter the Friday prayers.
