During an Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha event organised by Sanatan Bhagwa Raksha Dal, Vijay Hindu delivered an anti-Muslim speech promoting the conspiracy theory of “love jihad”. He claimed that every Muslim man renting shops and houses had “trapped” Hindu women and alleged that there had been more than 2,000 cases of “love jihad” in the district.
