Sanatan Sanstha organised a conference advocating the declaration of India as a “Hindu Rashtra”, where several speakers delivered hate speeches targeting Muslims.
Sunil Ghanwat of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti peddled conspiracy theories such as “love jihad” and religious conversions, and falsely claimed that funds from “halal-certified products” are used to provide legal aid to alleged terrorists. Satish Pradhan, National President of the Gau Raksha Dal, stressed the need for weapons to defend the country and religion. Retired military officer Major Gaurav Arya glorified violence, stating, “A nation flourishes in the shadow of the sword.”
Ranjit Savarkar, grandson of Vinayak Savarkar, peddled the conspiracy theory of “vote jihad” and alleged that 10 crore Muslims from Bangladesh have been settled in India. He fearmongered about the Muslim population, claiming they had taken control of the economy, and urged Hindus to support a “Hindu-to-Hindu” economy.
